Valencia CF will play their preseason opener against regional opposition, Villarreal CF at the Oliva Nova Beach & Golf Resort football ground at 6:30 pm kick-off time (CET) behind closed doors.
The two sides have crossed paths in preseason on seven occasions with a positive record for Valencia CF with a total of five wins, one draw and one loss.
Their last preseason friendly meeting, last season ended in a 2-1 win for Valencia CF with Maxi Gómez at the double for Valencia CF and Samuel Chukweze opening the scoring for the yellows.
Valencia CF will try to follow suit for the second preseason running against the current UEFA Europa League champions to get José Bordalás’era in the Valencia CF dugout off to a winning start.
